PR Application , Joint survey for container damages & Reader's Digest Scam !

On the 12.06.14, it was a very very hectic day for me !

Im helping my hubby to apply PR for him as we want to buy flat in SG, our PR appointment date was actually on 20 Nov 2014. But everyday i will go online to the e-appointment portal and sign in and check if there's an earlier date. And on 11.06.14 im very lucky that i manage to see on 14.06.14 there was a few time slots empty, so i quickly changed the appointment. Then i think im too happy and i have forgotten that i should have translate my hubby birth cert and his academic results from Malay to English first.

So took an urgent leave on 12.06.14 with hubby, went to Subordinate Court in the morning and went into the room for translation services, end up they say they do not do this services anymore. Argh. Damn... They say i should go to Supreme Court instead. So went to Supreme Court to get the cert translated. I ask the malay auntie and see if she can do it a bit faster for me as i need it by 14.06.14 as i jus push forward the PR application appointment date. She replied me that " you think i can do magic ah ? the earliest date you can get is 17.06.14. :'(

So never mind, on 14.06.14 we will still proceed to go for the PR application appointment then if they really need it , we can submit to them again.

After passing the certs to the auntie, we left the place and hubby send me to Penjuru Lane.

One of my company container , there's damages inside the floorboard and the shipping company wants to charge us for it. Book an appointment with a surveyor to have a joint survey with the shipping line.

That one that they are lifting is that stupid container that make me stand under the sun and inspect the whole container. Zzzz ! waste my time lei!

Went i reach home, i open a mail under my name. its from reader's digest and telling me that i have won $250,000 ! lol !

What a day ! This is definitely a scam la! I google it and there's also a few other people who received these kind of mail. I dont remember i sign up any Reader's Digest Contest as i have been reading or seen this book ever since secondary school days when we are being force to buy this book. Hence, whoever receive this mail, don be alarm. jus throw these papers away.. LOL !
