Biggest Balloon Sculpture in sg

Went to Marina Square to see the biggest balloon sculpture !

Its quite amazing ah, balloons can be made to such a big sculpture and it doesnt affect the rest of the balloons when some of it has burst or had turn small. Therefore this showcase was display for only 3 days.

Had lunch at Putien. Order the set meal for 2 and the total bill is around $65. As we did not make any reservations, so we are only allow to dine for 1 hour. And i was like thinking , if your dishes are cook quickly and being served to me fast, then of cos i will finish it fast la. And also one of the waitress     "auntie" is totally not well trained.

At the menu for the set meal, they listed a few dishes and then it comes to the dessert. And the dessert they put dessert of the day, so i asked the auntie...
ME : Auntie, what's the dessert for the day?
Auntie : Erm. It depends on the kitchen.
ME : Auntie, i know it depends on the kitchen to see what they have prepare la, but can i know before hand what is the dessert of the day or not.
Auntie : Oh. Ok. I help you go kitchen check.

Wah lao. she like dont understand what i meant at first lo. pissed off. And they hire quite a lot of part timers , when ask them for things, they super blur! Gave me a cup of warm barley with spoon but without straw. How to drink ah ?!

Went to this new place to sing k, recommended by my bro-in-law friends. This place is awesome but kind of expensive as its located at Clarke Quay area.

they have this small mini mart just located at their "lobby" so we could jus go there and grab some snacks. of cos we got to pay extra for it !

We sang from 9pm to 3.30am. Actually they gave us till 6 am as we have already double spend for the min. spending of the room. Meaning : I choose the medium room for 6 pax and the min. spending is $180, we only can sing for 3 hours. BUT if we wan to extend our hours inside the room we need to double spend which means min. spending for the medium room becomes $360. Hence, we order chivas and some other tidbits, and so they allow us to sing till 6am. 

The staff are quite friendly. But maybe one thing no good is that , for the small bites and finger food, although they have a lot of choices, but they order from downstairs or some where nearby restaurants. And they close pretty early. So around 12am, they do not take these orders anymore. =( 

Imagine if we will to sing till 6am, we will be hungry to death lo! 

Anyway its a pretty good (clean) place for bringing kids up to sing k as kids below 12 no need to pay their cover charge . And we have booked the next trip there already!! Hehe! To finish up the balance chivas. Lol !

Watched Grasshopper's (草蜢) concert at Compass Ballroom, Resort World Sentosa ~ Its definitely not my generation of songs but anyway there's free tickets for us so we decided to go!

Through out the concert, i think i only know less than 5 songs? But it's ok. I still enjoy it with my hubby! Hahas!

After concert, we had a free room for a night. This time is Hotel Micheal again! But this time the room is bigger as there's a living room and a huge bathroom with bath tub!

Had lunch at The Cathay for the SUPER CHEAP Japanese food ! 

 when i was queuing outside, i saw there this family and look at the amount of plates that they have ate! so scary right? Because it's so cheap!

 Nihon Mura Express had this promotion posted on their FB.

 2 of the items that i ate. the cha soba sucks. lol.

we only manage to ate 25 plates, total bill turn out to be $23.40 with GST & service charge!!!!

Ordered pizza for lunch with my colleagues. Order it through iphone app and i receive a free garlic bread! Hohoho!!
